Acrobatics Fun

Guess who. This is a photo of my sister Lee and me in one of our favorite past-times at the time. If I wasn't writing, I was dancing. Acrobatics - ah, I thought I could do cartwheels and such forever. It was quite a shock the day I found out I couldn't.

About Myself as an Editor

My interest in writing began at age seven. By age fourteen I was taking journalism courses and working on the school newspaper. Under my guidance our newspaper won a national first-place Columbia University journalism award and the staff went to New York City to receive it. In the post of features editor, I interviewed every famous person within range, from the Speaker of the U.S. House to musician Dave Brubeck. The photos below are from that period (I was a teenager.) More Belgium Shots

Here are two more shots - these inside the home I visited in Belgium in a small village in the Walloon (French) part of the country. Above is one of Chris Van de Velde, me, and Chris's girlfriend, Mary. The room shows the inside of a beautiful, comfortable Belgian home I was lucky enough to be invited into. Chris does therapy and counseling through experiential learning. He was the first person I did energy studies under and has branched out widely in the decades since. On LinkedIn Chris writ...

EXCERPT: Willy Vanluyten – Keep This Quiet! III & IV

Willy Vanluyten, my fifteen-years-younger boyfriend from 1987 to 1991, died suddenly in 1991, at just under 35 years old. Everything around the death was spooky, and the apartment I had lived in with him was more spooky afterwards. Keep This Quiet! III introduces Willy, and the story is carried forward in KTQ! IV. Willy had a short life. He made his livelihood as a truck driver. But he was quite unordinary.  Here is how he entered KTQ! III. He was Flemish. This scene takes place in Tienen, Belgi...
