The Balancing Act of Me
Elizabeth Hein's novel How to Climb the Eiffel Tower kept me up to 3 a.m. the other night. In it a first-hand narrator wittily and with vulnerability describes her successful battle with cancer as a young career woman. I wouldn't have expected to be swept up in the topic, but she has a deft style and kept me reading and turning pages. Elizabeth has honored me by inviting me to contribute a Guest Blog, which you can read here. I took the occasion to write about relationships in the context of the...

Chris Van de Velde
Chris Van de Velde created "Inner Landscaping," from which his exercises at the back of the book are taken, with his permission. He later went on to join the Netherlands Academy for Psychotherapy in Amsterdam and then founded Numenon Counseling Institute. Chris's advice to me in Keep This Quiet! III was a saving grace, as were the light body courses I also began, the latter in 1992.

Space Encounters Reviews
The Space Encounters series (three books, published by Saeculum University Press in the early 200s, printed in Romania) displays the experimental "computer PK" process I discovered in the 1990s in Belgium. I reveled in the experiment and my books showcased the printouts made spontaneously, which differed from the screen. The images were scanned and scotch taped onto film paper for the Space Encounters series, as they broke the "mirror" of a normal book and had to be hand placed. All three volume...

Hunter and the Bikers TODAY
Kevin Ring, publisher of Beat Scene in England, sent me this link from The Guardian. It reflects something I was already thinking about. Looking at the recent events in Waco, Texas, it brandishes this headline: "Why gonzo journalism is crucial to our understanding of cities and their tribes." As I heard TV newscasters interview people about other gangs, and in particular the Hell's Angels, I thought I was looking into the past. The challenge Hunter made to traditional reporting back then - t...
