Allen Joseph Miner

Al has just transitioned. If you want to be truly inspired, go here and listen to the In Memorial video. Al doesn't just hope he'll survive. He has proof in having left the Earth 10,000-plus times as Lama Sing came into his body to give the readings over 45 years - in the trance-channel manner of Edgar Cayce. His wife, Susan Miner, is pulling back the curtain on aspects of his teaching and life that she observed at his side these last decades. To do this, she will have a weekly newsletter, th...

On How I Came to Write the Revised Edition of KTQ! IV: Ancient Secrets Revealed

To keep my inspiration and sense of connection to Source, I am most drawn to knowledge from something larger than my current state; inspiration from my awareness, which speaks in spurts, whispers unknowns, speculates in large, outrageous ways as it gives me insights, brings potential to my attention. Surfaces. Fortunately, I discovered there was more of myself. After exhaustively covering much of my life, I had not peered closely enough into the 1990s, that grand period when my life was prett...

Podcast – Interview on Keep This Quiet! and HST

I have just finished an interview with Victoria Lynn Weston on her podcast program, Ayrial Talk Time, where I share my experiences with Hunter  S. Thompson, founder of “gonzo journalism,”  along with highlights from my memoir book series: Keep This Quiet! Here is the interview: I thoroughly enjoyed being interviewed by this gifted person. Excerpt from Keep This Quiet! III – Jung-Pauli

Excerpt from the Author's Note The third in the series, Keep This Quiet! Initiations continues my memoir. I attended the C. G. Jung Institute in Küsnacht, Switzerland, a suburb of Zurich, 1984‒87.              ...

The Red Shark and Owl Farm

Here's a glimpse of the classic Hunter car, the Red Shark, gleaming in front of his ranch. This photo was taken by me at Owl Farm in 1991. That story ends Keep THIS Quiet Too! It's told again, with added details, at the beginning of Keep This Quiet! IV: Ancient Secrets Revealed. Of course, there's much more to read, as this was a dramatic visit.

About the Series

The series title comes from the envelope above, which Hunter sent me (his copy editor for Hell's Angels) upon learning what I looked like. And how young I was. Keep This Quiet! comes replete with letters and other materials from Hunter - not available elsewhere - about the Hell's Angels period. It also  corrects some widely touted anecdotes. I was not only Hunter's copyeditor/Assistant Editor on Hell's Angels but also a friend. What is KTQ! about??? Kirkus Reviews says Harrell’s memoir ...

HST at Woody Creek

The photos below are from 1991, at Owl Farm, where I visited Hunter for a week, not having seen him in twenty-one years physically. I had been living in Morocco and then Belgium. My boyfriend had just died and the apartment we had shared was spooky. I thought Hunter could handle the "weirdness," and I certainly need a confidante. So I reached out by phone and pretty soon was at Owl Farm, his ranch in Colorado. This sets the stage as Keep This Quiet! IV, revised edition, opens: On January 6, 199...
