What more beautiful birthday present could a person get?

Not knowing that it was the eve  of my birthday, Marty Flynn sent me the link yesterday.

And that was among several surprises. He called it his humble  opinion – beautiful indeed.

The book is also just up on Amazon for preorder, as on B & N (32% discount there). I’m sure Amazon will go down in price as well, but at the moment it hasn’t a clue about the distribution, so it’s got a listing with the promise of more later. The reason Amazon doesn’t know more now has to do with a complicated logistics arrangement. Anyway, it can be preordered there as well, and I’m sure the price will be competitive.

Well, and then, I ordered a poster – not expecting it to arrive so soon. Yesterday it was on my doorstep. I saved it to open today. It’s a Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas vintage, but was on sale for $.04!!!!! So I opened it today and it’s gorgeous. Altogether, a fine birthday, and it’s still going on. More that I didn’t mention.
